Lyca Media has now launched Lyca Gold in London on 1035AM and DAB.
The station launched at 6am today (Monday) with ‘Gold Breakfast’ presenter, Kajal the first to take to air with her opening link “Welcome to Lyca Gold”.
Lyca Gold was given the go-ahead in the summer after Ofcom approved DilSe Radio’s format change from a speech-led station to a retro Asian music service.

Armia FM (army FM) is starting on AM 810 kHz with 10 kW.
National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine has issued a decision to permit for temporary broadcasts of Armiia FM radio station primarily to the regions occupied by russian troops, using a frequency of 810 kHz in Hirnyk (vul. Terykonna 1A, TOV “Telemerezhi Ukrayiny” mast), Donetsk oblast with output power of 10 kW. Central TV and Radio Studio of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine will get this permission. Period of the temporary broadcast is 1 year from the date of adoption of the decision.

At the end of this year, Český rozhlas will cease broadcasting on medium wave and long wave.

AM X-Band Guide for 2021-22 DX Season compiled by Tony Rogers.

With autumn once again heralding the start of the MW DX season in the northern hemisphere, here is an updated list of radio stations in the Americas currently believed to be using the extended AM band between 1610-1710 kHz.
Transmitter powers for US stations are generally around 10 kW, with many of the stations listed required to reduce power at night, often to around 1 kW.
Because this part of the AM band is relatively clear in Europe, apart from occasional pirates, it is possible to hear some of these stations overnight here in the British Isles when conditions are suitable.
