BBC and Encompass Digital Media test transmission on 1584 kHz.
I was able to listen to the transmission on 1584 via this KiwiSDR:

I was only able to use AM, DRM wasn’t available on these SDRs. Time was Wed Apr 20 11:50:57 UTC 2022.
The signal was stable, but there was rustling in the background. Did that came from the simultaneous DRM/AM transmission?
Are there any plans to bring regular program on air on this site/frequency?

They say that 2 antennas were destroyed (1000 and 500 kW). This fits to the information about 1413/999. If it is true that 1413 used the directional ARRT antenna, then 5 masts are maybe affected.
I just don’t know what really happened, the pictures are not clear enough.

Mi Amigo DJs reunite for one last Caroline broadcast.
A group of DJs who served on the Mi Amigo in the 70s are reuniting for one last broadcast on Radio Caroline this summer, live from the studios on board Ross Revenge.
The theme of the broadcast on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 July is ‘The Sensational Seventies’.

BBC Radio 5 Live to close AM transmitters & Radio 4 to cease Long Wave service.

The BBC is planning to make £500m of annual savings in a digital-first future by cutting services such as Radio 4 Extra, Radio 4’s Long Wave service and Radio 5 Live’s mediumwave transmitter network.

Mi Amigo Reunion Broadcast

When Radio Caroline broadcast off the English coast in the 1970s, it was Europe’s First And Only Album Station. The years 1976 -1980 are, for many Caroline listeners, the most cherished.
To celebrate that era we have a weekend of special programmes, live from the Ross Revenge, presented by the very DJs who broadcast from our much missed previous ship, the Mi Amigo, all those years ago.
Mark Lawrence and James Ross, so fondly remembered, will broadcast on Caroline for the first time in over 40 years.
Another presenter – much missed from both that era and the following decade – is Tom Anderson. “It’s high time we put the band back together,” laughed Tom. “The boys from that era on the Mi Amigo have stayed in touch … the UK has just celebrated the Queen’s Jubilee and we were reminiscing about the Jubilee in ‘77 when we were all on the Mi Amigo. It slowly dawned on us that we should do it again!”
